Ok... I got Breakin and Breakin2 (Electric Boogaloo) on DVD from Amazon recently

Breakin 2:
9minutes 25 seconds in, a sweet STD 1200 Coupe Orange on the other side of the road.

I'm on the lookout for more..watching it now. It's filmed in LA, I wonder if it still running?

Embarrasing but true.

In Cheech and Chong Up in Smoke when theyre driving on the interstate in his lowrider and when theyre driving the weed van you can look at the other cars on the road and spot several Datsun 1200's and some other models as well. Akso in the "I Love The 70's" series on VH1 when they discuss when Michel Jakson's hair caught on fire you can spot a red 1200 coupe in some of the video footage of the stadium.

Last night watched 8mm with nicholas cage and a 120y (gx?) was in the scene when nicholas (1/4 way thru movie) went to speak to the victims boyfriends father.
It was perfect. Lucky yanks with their beautiful little japanese tanks.

Ive got few more...
In American Physco 2 the teacher or the dean ( the one that tells the bitch she cant apply ) drives a very straight looking 1971-2 (??not sure) Datsun 1600!! It puffs out a dirty great big beloow of black smoke when she starts it up and drives off hehe GET a 1200!!!

And in Shallow Hal when jack black and the other guy ( duno his name ) are walking up the street i sweeeear to god theres a 1600 or 200B in the background..... correct me if im wrong..

Datsuns should be all form of transport in movies!!

Mad Adventures of Rabbi Jacob (French 1970's) a short segment filmed in NYC shows a minty 510 2dr in avocado green. Movie is oddly funny (in a Frenchy way).

i saw this 70s movie on SBS with 3 north korean spies fanging around tokyo in a brand new 240k sedan. they smoked em up several times it was great
