#1 No traction I LOVE IT!!!!
NIS15L Posted on: 2004/12/21 23:48
Hows it goin guys started tuning my ute last night and what a blast im having we are just Street tuning at the moment due to the fact all dynos seem to be book up till Xmas.
Anyway its going well Having a few traction problems as soon as the revs climb over 3000rpm the rear starts to let go this happens in most gears!.
We are tuning it on Standard boost which is climbing to about 10psi we should have a nice drivible street tune by tommorrow night then we can whack here on the dyno early January.
Just a note anyone thinking of the CA18DET conversion in a 1200 ute its the best fun to drive just make sure you car control skills are up to scratch mine seems to spin through 3rd gear with no worries
Cheers Luke

you must have #### tyres or something

no offence, good on ya youve put the work in, and im glad your happy with it

but breaking out when hitting boost-twin spinning in third in the dry? serious? your scaring me, i thought my car would be near cadet power but not by the sound of that

or is this not an everyday ca18?
