Depends how your weld is, if you didnt get some good penetration it'll break. But I guess that if others have made it work then you should.

Was it with a MIG? And how much heat did you put into it.. What power rating was the welder? If you used my little 100Amp Welder it would be the same as if you used epoxy :P

If it holds I say your Tranny, its so weak.

BooM! hehe

wow what traction
wow what a pain in the arse

dont do it to a road car, its great but a fair pain in the arse, skipping the rear end round corners and chirrping all the time, havent noticed it pushing me through corners though

when i get a chance im gonna put a sprung load int he other centre and try that

nothings broken yet...

You aren't trying hard enough.
How long does it take to come on boost? You might be advantaged by no down low smacking torque.

Just as I suspected, with a welded centre your patience would be the first thing to go.
I would rather walk to the shops than drive that car of mine when it had a locked diff, it was a real pig around town.

why is the TWIN TURBO theory so hard to understand

of course it has low down torque thats the whole idea! low down torque with equal boost up high in the revs

surely only rednecks couldnt understand this

it hits full boost @ 2500 rpm and stays on full boost to as high as i like to rev it, which has ben over 7000, and the turbos arnt working hard either as i drove 15km up a mountain driving hard under boost the whole way and at the top only one turbo was slightly glowing

and at the end of the day it keeps up with $60,000 sports cars

oh and im not trying to break anything but i always drive it hard

YEEHAA. lol
Not trying to wind you up, I was refering to by comparison the a supercharged engine. I had full boost whenever I booted it. Even as low as 1000 rpms.

i knew what you meant mate

i still plan to take it on the quarter but its not a huge priority

more intrested in a drfit practice night

i got the celica box so i might wait till i get a tailshaft made and put that in, the exrta grip would kill the a-series box for sure

the fuel bowl on the carby has cracked down the side of it, i cant see why, but a change of carby is on the list of things to do tomorrow as fuel is going everywhere
