BENCH SEATS in a 1200 UTE ??

HEY,
was just wondering if the 1200 ute came out with a bench seat.. and if not if anyone has done it.. please post pics/info if possible.. thanks, marc

I've seen a few in pictures but I'm not sure if it was stock or not. I've only seen them on early utes and only in Japan. I think the last one I saw had column shift and I didn't notice the others. Unfortunately the pics were on an auction listing so can't post them.

i dont think a bench seat would be a good idea , considering theres not even enough room for two people in a 1200 ute .....

yeah it aint really to fit more people though.. i just like the look of em and i reakon its more comfortable..

Mazda 1000 utes had bench seats. Maybe you could get one of them to fit.

yeah i was thinking that..
but they r really rare so i dought ill find a seat... there was a mazda 100 ute on sale on ebay last week for 3grand.. it was imaculate... they r cool little things..

As you know that the 1400 UTEs are still manufactered in South Africa, and some still have the bench seats.{depending on Order, Bench seats that are fitted in, the handbrake Lever is moved right to the drivers side, next to the door.
The h/brake lever situation is not the best of places if you have big hands. And yes, these seats are quite comfy, but not as nice as the 2 Bucket seat, which is beter when cornering bends at a speed. Another advantage of the Bench seat, is that Two Adults and a kid can seat easily on them. You can view topic.
