Use any blower you can find. The toyota ones are probably the most comon. The stock bottom end will be fine. If you wish to lower the CR, it pays to deepen the dish in the piston . whilst still leaving the squish band intact. Decomp shims also work.
You can mount it on the spare boltholes on the block.

why not buy an a15 and supercharge that? i wouldnt waste my time on an a12, the a15's are cheap and would make more power when tweaked.

i'll be s'cing an A12 in a while.

i find the rev-ability of the A12 appealing.

i'll be using a toyota blower and a draw thru carby setup (prob a 2in SU).

there is no supercharger that just bolts up, but if u use the toyota s/c it has round piping and u may be able to plumb it all up using pipe and ruber hose and connectors depends how wellu want it to work.

I think he means those electric superchargers.

Do a search on Google and you'll find some.

They are virtually a bolt-on application, but good luck getting more than 1-2 PSI boost...

You could make one using a kick-ass brushless motor, controller and ducted fan assembly from a radio control plane -several companies make some wicked ones now...

The whole idea of s/c ing is torque. you don't have to rev the nuts off it, Just grab another gear and hang on. plus, if you go reving it too hard the charge heats up. And then.... well you know what happened to me.

Yeah, I had to make my own manifold.
The end result is oh so rewarding, but you don't just chuck it on and plant boot. There is a considerable amount of engineering to be carried out. I made plenty of scrap building my set up. (Including a fully recon head with 800 miles on it )
