as you know i have a SSS. will the carbs manifold and extrators fit on an a15. or will the a12 head fit on to the a15 block.
i want some extra power

extractors only really, the a12 head yes but think its not as simple as a direct bolt on, would have to search for the info

the carb will also work, but not the inlet manifold, you could just swap the carb to the a15 manifold though, the a12 carb apparently does have bigger jets

this guy has a SSS so must be running 2 X 40DHLA Dellortos.
You'd be better to get an oval port manifold for the A15 head, use the dellortos, get the cam ground, plane the head, get it tuned on a dyno and then you've got a weapon mate!

from the fact he's trying to use a12 gear im guessing he doesnt want to spend that sorta money but still good advice

Did the 1200SSS have round port heads?

i dont mind replacing things if i have to but with the twin carbs attached to the a12 while sitting on the workshop floor seams a waste.
the 1200SSS had a standard head.
