"Great News" Kegs is now a part"Team OldSkool" no.2.... well done mate, your decsion to stick to Oldskool power with a nice twist off Twin 45s and turbo setup has got you into the team
The turbo has newskool attributes, but because its on a such a great oldskool motor and twins it still passes Congrats Kegs...where the new signature proudly mate! Other potenial Team Old Skool members beware of Team newskool (You know who you are ), this can lead to cutting your beloved datsun up and add wieght overload.... they may have more power than some Oldskool members, but lack oldskool style and carizma...Cheers P.s just a bit of fun bettween a few members

Hey Dazza i think we'll need to start a Team Big Block!!
so i guess by putting quad throtle body injection on my L18 would taske me out of the Old skool running? ah well i'll have to settle for Team Retrotech!!

where do you fit in if you have... hypothetically speaking
... a naturally aspirated CA18 with twin carbs, a dissy, and no electronic management whatsoever?sort of the reverse of retro-tech?

well i'd say it is in fact a retro tech, using new technology with old technology.
new engine as a base and old technology hanging off of it. or am i wrong?

I always looked at the retro tech as being the use of modern technology in old school cars. Modernising old school looking cars.
Whereas I'd be using old technology on a modern engine. Sort of old-schooling a 'hi-tech' engine, to suit an old school car. Well, that's how I'd like to think of it. but then again, there's nothing particularly new about the twin cam multivalve design either...
