First of all has anyone done this conversion before and if not what have you used????

The early seventies rear drive Mitsi lancer master cylider is a good conversion to do.

master-cylinder from an urvan is the biggest bore if thats what ya going for, if ya make up an adaption plate it will go on a sunny booster nice

I've done it..got pictures of it...and it works very well. I'll put the pictures on my webpage shortly.

I recommend Mitsubishi/Chrysler LA/LB Lancer Booster The LB Booster comes with a better booster->strut tower brace. Plus it's newer. You might need to borrow the 180b booster piston and seal (watch for the rubber disk (reaction disk) under the piston, it can get lost in the booster sometimes. To be sure of this, take a rule or tape measure with you to the yard.

It's better if you can get both from the same wrecking yard, that way no-one needs to know that you've mixed and matched.

Also make sure that you get the splitter valve from the 180B. It's the block where the lines all go into. For most applications this should match the brake master cylinder.
