Out of time, no datnats for the a15ett or me |

i've simply ran out of time, i pretty much have everything and it's so close but... alas not enough time to finish it and get it running, i needed to get it tuned this week so i could at least drive it for next weekend and a few other days to sort out any overheating or any other small teething problems, i havent been able to finish it over this weekend though so... thats it i have to face it, i've missed another datnats, it would break my heart to go again without my car so unfortunately i dont even want to put myself through the torture of making an apperance up there have fun guys i'm shattered

damn dude that sux i was hoping to have my turbo aseries done in time but mine is not even anywhere near even being put in the car, i also wanted to steal some of ur ideas maybe next year will be the year of the turbo 'A' on a brighter note i thought id take the oppuirtunity to see if there is any kind of CONVOY from sydney to datnats? i wouldnt have a clue where to go and would love to have a cruise with fellow dattos, anyone?

I will more than likely be going down Saturday morning. From memory there are a few guys from datnet planing to meet up Saturday morning to cruise down. What day you heading down?
1200RC doesnt your bro inlaw have a 1200? Or is that the one and only you have now?

My cars not been started yet. The interior isn't quite done. Got the ADR letter for my Sparco seats today. I gotta put oil in everything. I'm getting Ray Hall's Autronic SMC installation manual via courier tomorrow. Exhaust is being done next Tuesday. Engineered next Wednesday  Registered/Dynoed on Thursday. Going to Nats on Friday. Will be ready one day before. I'll go for a cruise around Sydney on thursday afternoon/night for testing. I gotta work tomorrow. Last day before my holidays for Datnats.

dont give up man, theres still a week and a half left! have a few late nights and ill come out and help you finish it! i understand how shattered you are seeing my ride wont be making it too. the tt must be there!

Yeah for sure. The datnet guys are meeting up at a servo near The Crossroads at 8:30 but that would be backtracking for you.
I cant say I know exactly where the Mobils are ( I mean from memory which on ramp they are after ) But I know I wont miss it. Say a time and I will meet ya. I will just be in my hilux no datto.
Maybe start another thread and see who else wants to meet up.

I still have to buy and fit seats, fit and wire the dash, put oil in everything, finish the front suspension, finish almost all the interior, fit bumpers, fit lowere springs in the front, modify the strut tops. get an exhaust, fix the steering, fit steerring wheel, get new tyres on new wheels, wheel alignment, fix up a few other bits and pieces and hopefully test drive on the thursday or friday to find/fix any bugs.
