my auto teacher said when he was a mechanic a car was brought in and it was about 10 years old at the time and this little old lady owned it since new but the thing had never been run in properly, so they took it to queenstown (in tassie) flat stick all the way just to run it in properly.

old peoples cars are always in pretty good order as they treat them as though they are a new car.
If you buy a car of an old person its bound to be in great condition as they drive very steady.

hi tom
It also helps to get your car out onto the highway to burn out all the carbon and deposits inside the motor every now and then. This should make the engine run better
