I have the datto fuel and electrics done and ready for the ca to go in. The battery box has been cut out and is yet to be cleaned up. What do I have to do to the sway bar to fit the engine? Do I cut it or bend it or remove it and put it back?

The engine is sitting in the corner of the shed. I pulled it out of the donor 200sx on the weekend. It was imported from hong kong in 94. It has done 87 thousand k. It was an auto but I have all the stuff to convert it like computer ect. The gearbox I am using is a rb20 skyline box with a ca18 bellhousing. THe ca20 went on but a whole gear train was in compression so It would not spin freely. Lucky the bloke down at the gearbox shop had a ca18bell there.

The mounts are in and all that I need to sort out is the torque converter and flex plate off, and the clutch and fly wheel on. I am going to find a VL commy tailshaft as it goes into the rb20 box.

Then comes the wiring. It is all complete from the computer plug around to the startermotor. But it has no ignition connected to it or fuel pumps. I have 2 fuel pumps, If I ran them both off the stock fuel pump relay, I would just pop the fuse right? What else only turns on with the on & start position of the ignition? Power windows mabey, dash lights, dunno. If I just dont wire up all the other stuff like lights, heater stuff and all will the computer chuck a wobbley?

Does anyone want the stock auto box off the engine, the auto computer, torque converter ect?

Thanks fellas
Mely

Hi mely, in answer to your electrical question...I wouldn't try to run two pumps on one relay. What I would do is purchase another relay and run a dedicated circuit to the second pump. There is usually a couple of empty slots in most fuse boxes. In fact most of the time one side of the empty slot is already wired to accessory power. So all you would have to do is run the positive wire from your pump to the fuse box, then install your fuse. Hope this helps.
