Hi

I want to rebuild my a12 or a15 engine with bigger cam, port & polish, flat top pistons and oversized, twin Webber crabs, extractors, higher compression ratio say 10.0to1. how much horse power will it have and will it go good for what it is.

Thanks

An A15 with what you are talking about will make 150+ HP and go very "good" for what it is.

It will rev to a level that will be more than you need for a regular street driver
Reliable? Well, that will be entirely up to you.

Whats a true Datsun?

Nino I recommend you put all your effort into finding out from different engine builders who have experience in the A series engines. Then you will have a good and reliable understanding of what to expect from the engine, how long it will last and how much it will all cost. Then you can choose the engine builder you thinks best.

Maybe put your location in your profile and then other members can let you know who to go visit in you area.
