About 2 years ago I was offered a 1200 sedan, not any ####heap but a genuine 2 owner with all matching numbers and a complete service history spanning some twenty odd years.
The price was 1500 bucks with a RWC but the engine was stuffed(two many short trips with the elderley owner) the nephew of the owner could not get a RWC so I said I would buy it as is for 500 dollars deal done.
I now owned this car with a shot engine I had the engine redone with rings bearings and everything else that was not up to scratch, When I refitted the rebuil;t engine I also had the radiator done, carby rebuilt, new H/D clutch, water pump ect ect
I also took the time to fit a rebuilt disc front end with all new gas suspension all round and fitted new shoes and machined drums.
All other repairs exhaust ,starter ,alternator had been replaced by the previous owner.
I ended up selling it to a young guy who did a great job of doing it up with new rims new paint job and had bought a heap of parts to customize it to his needs (it looked bloody fantastic) new seal kit, wood wheel ect ect.
but last week he had a major biff and took out the whole left side and the car is well and truly beyond repair and as I said to him at least you are still alive (luckilly)
I took him to the holding yard and he was shocked at how much damage there was I have seen later model Hondas written off with less damage.
with all that has been done to the car it would be a shame to see it dragged to wreckers, does anyone have a good sedan shell that Josh could swap all the good stuff into

We see this all too much, people putting their hearts into the cars they love then to see it get ripped apart by the next owner...
Not sayin that it was reckless driving or nothing its just a shame something like this goes to waste SOO easily!!!

Let us know how it goes...

Well there is supposedly a very nice vb10 in qld area for 900 or so and it would make a great candidate for the running gear.
