Hey all,
Im really keen on a 1200 ute that is located in Penrith. Problem is i'm from Brisbane, and really don't want to fly down and drive it all the way back to Brisbane. Does anybody know anything about shipping cars and an estimate on how much it would be? Anyone have connections in that area or could help me out??
Any help or suggestions would be much apprechiated!
Mike

This one...
I can't get onto the owner but, ive been trying to call him with no luck! Can't get the pic to work, its a red one with all new chrome, no rust, and a stockish a12 with a 5spd.

Try TNT car carriers, got a 180B for me from Ipswich to Glenbrook (near Penrith) for under $400 from memory.
I'd spend the money to check it out. A 1200 ute with no rust, not likely.

u could always catch a bus down there and drive it back, 50-80 for the bus. another 10 dollars for fuel if its got an a12 in it to get it back. and if its no good get on the piss and catch the bus back.

Carmovers screwed me round big time. I gave them over a month to get my car up to Brisbane and they stuffed it up. I had flights, hotel, hire car all booked and on the day i arrived they informed me it would be there in 5 more days! This was after all the last phone calls assuring me the car was going to be there, was almost there, was being delivered now, etc, etc. Then it turned up 2 days later.

I can recall TNT being very cheap if you had a car that could get to one of their depos and even cheaper if you had a anytime-soon-type schedule. I guess they used the odd cars to fill up random trucks.
