Hi All,

Does anyone know how good a turbonator (the add on datsun1200.com) is in increasing the performance or horsepower of a car.

I have a Sunny B310, 1981 with an A12 engine and i am looking to increase power. If anyone has used the turbonator, please let me have your comments.

I seriously doubt it. At best it will increase your throttle response. IMO

unless u make up a custom intake stream u wont be able to mount the turbonator on ur a12, i think the effort required to mkae this setup would be better sent making up an exhaust system or adding a set of carbies.....

Ever thought about why these things fit into your budget???

It's because calculating sales types understand that you are a bit too tightarsed to buy the real deal, and are offering you some fools gold as a cheap substitute...

If it sounds too good..it bloody well is.

It may increase your ability to eat ####ty food, as a result of you having no money...because you are foolish enough to have invested in such crap...

All the tests of these devices have shown them to be purely an intake restriction and actually decrease power.

They might make the car feel a little different but they don't magically make power.

replacing the stock carb with a weber 32/36 would make a difference.

Think of it as de-tunning your engine, complete waste of time and sh|t! If you think about how it works and visit the website on how they work you''l soon realise there is no way in HELL these fake advertising things will work....

Hell even adding dual/single different carbies and working your engine a bit may not even give you an extra 35hp!!

But if you want to just rip apart your computer and stick the processor chip and power supply fan on the intake of your efi/ air cleaner same thing and for free....

Hey DattoDude.... jeeeezzz .... lighten up man.... someone comes to the forum to ask a questy and you havta #### on him... ya ok its a bit nieve of him to ask but we all have to learn things somehow... You obviously have a lot of knowlege and could share it without dumping on the poor guy. We were all young once... hell... I am over 40 and still make dumbass mistakes regularly. But when I need to know something I dont, then I turn to guys like you that do.

if you give me $50 us and an airfare, ill help you push your 1200 and then might get a couple of hp if were going down hill.
