hi im new and have just bought a 1200 ute.I have a 1400 block at work and am planning on puting a 1500 crank in and oversize 1500 pistons i.the head will all be ported as well as holden double valve springs.all the machine work i can get done for free cos we have a machine shop in A.C.T.i was just wondering what turbo u fellas use and what sort of power delivery that u got and what compresion ratio to use.and i plan to run a front mount so i was wondering how much boost do those carbys handle and what sort of mods u blokes do to help them cope with 10_15 pounds boost .any help will be greatly appreciated

they come off the subaru forester and are optimised for automatic transmission so have a smaller than normal exhaust housing - perfect for a worked 1.5/1.6L engine with a steampipe manifold.

i picked up a pair of these babies for $200 - all with less than 50thou on them.

why so cheap? everyone upgrades to the WRX TD04 / VF22 turbos instead.
