I had checked out the KB10 with 2332owner the other night. Have a good look at the grille, thats the factory option "Black" grille. It is not listed on the sales brochure, but it IS listed in the parts book, & in my view, it changes the whole look of the front.

I Like it, so it looks like i will be running this version of the grille in my coupe.
I note that both this coupe & the green sedan use the factory "coupe option" steering wheel, so these seem to have been a popular option in Japan back then.

About the only thing i could see on this car that is not completely original is the mirrors, so someone is going to end up with a good one.

EDIT.
Information that has come to hand since this post shows that the mirrors were indeed a KB10 option, although these ones are not listed in the parts book or on the sales brochure.
Details can be found in posts dated 9th /6/05

Quite a serious little 120Y. It's reached its reserve as well (about $6000).

the 120y is a gx model hence the different dash and side vertical indicator on guard.
As i have a picture of this model, including the interior.

hi, The Sunny coupe is actually a first model Stanza coupe.
Just had to clarify that.
But one strange thing is why does it have an A series motor in it?
Anyone know

dattoman 1000 if you really like these auctions you can save the pics and post them on this site as url will be dead in a few days.

As for the A14 powered A10 Violet, it might very well be factory as I have a specification for 1400cc and I'm not sure the JDM were still offering the L14 in '78.

Dodgeman I think I need to update your literature.

Those matte black mirrors are definately the original factory items, I have them listed straight after the factory matte black hood and right before the factory over the roof style GT stripe.

You gotta be pulling my leg. There is only one part number for all the bonnets, & the bullet mirror wasn't available unitll the 1200GX as far as my parts book goes, but mine is the Datsun B10 book & i don't have the JDM B10 Sunny book [yet]

Where did you source this info?
