The rear area of coupe can be made to handle such encounters if you build a wooden shelf for the hatchback area to replace the weak stock fiber-board back there. I did that (built the rear wooden piece) in my other 1200 and slept MANY times in there on cross country trips. I'm 6'2" and fit in there just perfect, and that was with a 4 point rollbar installed, making things a little kinky back there. Without the roll bar or luggage I guess it would be feasible to fit 2 adults but I never tried it Plus that'd put a lot of stress on the shelf supports...you'd have to strengthen it up back there.

Thanks Dazza

Well Michael's keeping quiet so I guess he won't mind if i tell you that if you move the harness in his passenger seat and move the seat right back it's not entirely uncomfortable to have two people *cough* sleep there.

Not sure if he was quite as comfortable with his ass hitting the glovebox though hehe

the harnesses kinda rule out the back seat for me, but surely it's not possible anyway....... is it?

am i missing out on something? i wonder bout the body hugging drivers seat adding a dimension but, the material, the fluids, maybe not a good combo there

and the bonnet... hmmmm

who wants to see a covergirl shot with the datto in the background?

Maybee they regard their personal & private intimate experiences just that, personal & private.
In my case, i don't think i can remember my last intimate experience. The worst part is trying to figure out if it was really all that long ago, or if i'm suffering from Oldtimers disease.

Besides, anything admitted to in this thread can be copied down & used in evidence against us at a later date.

I've never had a chance to try out my 310 for that purpose. I suppose I should :)

I have racing seats in the front, so that may make things difficult but they slide way back, which might make things easier, I stripped out the hatch area, so there's no rear seats at all and there's no spare tire or floor covering, so it's not really going to work for me..

what about over the front bonnet, of course taking care to not dent the fenders.

I really enjoyed the back seat in my subaru outback though.

Dattogal must be a girl because she says she's dating 1200rallycar, right?

I think we'll need to see a covergirl shot with the datto in the background before we'll be willing to get personal.
