My tip would be, if not a midget start YOGA ASAP....

If that fails, I think it would be easier ON a 1200 than IN a 1200!!!

I was driving to work many years ago in my first 1200.
I had saved up enough money to put some wheels on it two second hand jellybeans and two new ones(tyres were ratshi t)I only earned $136 per week.
Man I thought I was well and truly phucked when I spun of the South east freeway and I still had the knee trembles when I got to work.
Its not a sex story but I did think I was screwed

HAHAHA

Do any 1200's even come with reclining seats standard?

And the de-misters are, well not up to scratch!

Here's another theory:

datto's are fast, so you spend less time travelling, and more time at your destination, or more time at home...

we'll have to ask dattodevil how much better the long bed ute is...

haven't tried in a 1200 ..... yet but in a 2door 1000 it's possible ... latemodel recliner seats, passangers seat all the way back and layed back a bit, once you brake the little cardbourd shelf under the glove box there's plenty of leg room and a solid firewall to push on ... partners feet up on the dash .... the rest your imagination can fill in
also mark one vw golfs aren't too bad for getting close and intimate .... except for that cardboard shelf being plastic .... and really hard to find a replacement for when its a friends car but anyway .......

I can't be as old as Dodgeman and can definately remember the last time and doing it in a 1200 coupe!!! Being a light car I reccomend not parking on a grassy slope in Winter. The rocking motion from heavy "sleeping" can cause the car to slide further down the slope until it's hits a fence post on the edge of a large drop........requiring the assistance of a tow truck to pull it back up

Ah, so many comments I have to make to all of you!! I feel your pain in so many ways

Quote:
what about over the front bonnet, of course taking care to not dent the fenders

hmm, noted. Remind me to try that next time. I'll take some photos of me on rallycar's bonnet and post them soonish. And yes i am a girl, i am dating rallycar. He might look that way inclined but i assure you he's not

Also a good plan, but I'm only 160cm tall so i'll leave the contorting to Mick

Dude, how did you break the shelf?!! Or do i really not want to know. That sounds like some really rough....... *cough* fun.

To stirlingmac, I agree, gotta watch your bits on the park brake coz if that comes off the 1200 bounces around like a... bouncy ball i guess. Bye bye suspension too.

And i can't remember who mentioned the demister, but the fogging sucks, someone needs to think of a hot n sexy mod to stop us steamin' up.

Hmm think that's all for now... but I think it's decided the back seat is a no-go in the coupe

Dattogal xxx

You know what would be really impressive Dattogal??? If your first time was actually in a 1200!!!

That might also explain why you seem to want to pronounce it to the world??
