Rally of Queensland was great to be at, with heaps of good compition in all classes
I think lemonhead deserves and huge pat on the back for being able to finish one of the toughest rallies, when others were dropping out .
Only two A series poowered cars entered and both finished . Lemonhead owns a good,and strong car

i went up prowdly wearing my datsun beanie.

The rally was fantastic from a viewing perspective and i have some fantstic fotage and photo's of all the datsun's involved i have to scale the photo's down before i can post them,

Thanks Geoff for the comment and thank you for coming down with Oges and servicing and getting the Sunny scrutineered.

After that week end I have learnt that its good to have plenty of power, brakes etc but the most important factor you need is realiability, its very easy to get consumed with performance but if you don't have a reliable product you don't finish. I was very lucky on that weekend that I could fix the little problems I had and keep in the event... But they came at a cost...the Corolla beat me!! lol

I have ordered a new set of extractors of Jeff and the old ones I will mount on the wall as a trophy.


I would love to see any photo's of either Ian's coupe or the Sunny in action. If the size of the photo's are to big to post here I can send people my email address and have them sent there.
