DBA Part Num. 425
Dia. = 276mm
Thickness = 24mm
You can also get the disks slotted from DBA for a little more cost.
You can buy them with/without mounting holes drilled. In the beginning (which seems when I choose to do things) You had to buy the disks from Mitsubishi Spares. The ABS ones were cheaper than the non-ABS ones, but thanks to aftermarket volume sales, the price has come down considerably, and you can buy them over the counter at any spares place.
There's a bit of work, I guess the following will explain.
Shopping List
180B big axle struts -> $100 (Wreckers)
180B master cylinder -> $20 (Wreckers)
180B brake splitter -> $10 (Wreckers)
180B front brake lines -> $10 (Wreckers)
Lancer LA/LB Booster + Mount -> $25 (Wreckers)
Commodore Calipers (VN/VP/VLTurbo) -> $50
New Mitsubishi Verada KR/KS/KE/KF/KJ Front Disks -> ~$350 (DBA). I paid $230 each.
New Brake Pads -> $50
Total Parts Value $600.
extra -> Might want to get new 180B strut inserts if the ones from the wreckers are no good -> $180
Requires machine work on the disk and hub to get the offset 100% correct.
Requires spring cups to be exchanged with 1200 /120Y struts. I've found a use for the old drum struts that most 1200 owners have in the back of their shed from the last brakes upgrade. If you can do without your car for a little while, you could use your existing struts for the spring cups and springs..
