Well, to add to what I just posted, part of what's being asked or stated is useless in this thread because you can just max the boost during the dyno to max the hp figures. There's ways of doing this too with NA motors, so whatever big numbers somebody parrots may not be what they are able to run all day.

In a nutshell, big hp numbers should not impress anybody except the gullible.

It becomes clearer that to match that power out of an A block will be a bunch of real serious work.

I figure once I win Powerball (lotto) next week Ill put this question to rest with enough funds 250hp+ A series will be built and a 500+hp Ca18 for the coupe . The way the aussie dollar is going its not that bad buying japanese performance parts any more this mob have some great gear at very reasonable prices.
