Anyone ever done this. The ports are f**king huge(found out 2day). Would the ports be to big for a L16 engine???

The Combustion chamber for these heads is much larger, so you will get low compression ratios dependin on the head:

U67 - 7.8:1
v91 - 8.3:1

Not so good unless your going turbo.

Its the U67 head.

Was planning on getting the cumbustion chamber welded up, to form a compact cumbustion chamber (jus enough room for the valves and spark plug)

Or is it better to jus port the L16 head?

i once had a ported u67 head on an L18, but the bottom end used flat top oversized pistons to bump the compression back up. will the difference in piston size between the 1.6 and the 2 Lt make for a weird combustion area?

can anyone answer the last question??

Is the dish in the L20b pistons the same as the L16??

Also wats the specs on the L16 and L20b standard camshafts??? tryin to find out which is better.

Can only help you with the dish in the pistons

L16: -7.01
L18: -4.36
L20b: -11.36

also a good engine calc...

What do u think?? Some ppl tell me they would be to big. Wat do u guys reckon??

The engine will be standard. CR raised to 10.5:1 and 40mm DHLA.
