CA18eT also runs a SOHC 8 valve 8 plug arrangement

Here in the U.S.there was a Z-20 ,Z-22, and Z-24. The early ones had 4 plugs and then they went to 8 plugs a little later.

if its a Z22/Z24 it would be nice as i woould have free crank.

If its a 1.8L or 2.0L then its almost for certain a CA18ET or a CA20E, becuase its rear wheel drive it would be out of a Nissan 200SX/Silvia/Gazelle (1984-88)
They are good engines, but depending on the year there are two different trannys.
The earlier had the B tranny and the later had the C tranny.
I dont know what application you need the transmission for but I can tell you that the C tranny will bolt up to a CA18DET motor.

If it says NissanZ on the valve cover, it's a Z18/Z20/Z22, not any sort of CA engine.

people in barbados think i am wasting time with a l16 so i want to make them eat their words

so input on my plans are welcome
because i want to get best possible results

i also plan to get my crank knife edge

when u ready to buy it let me know. if its a Z20 or Z24, i would help u buy it....cause i would want d rods
