It might be too late, but TV New Zealand has decided any color can be used. They will even consider a 120Y or 1600 wagon of the era.

The program is Sunday and it is to be used for a re-enactment of the murder of Mona Blades.
They took my uncle's yellow coupe, so let's all watch the sunday show!!
Sweet deal, I think he gets $200/day plus full tank of gas!
They tracked him down through the LTSA evidently!

Cool ... I guess in most states the department of licensing wil sell vehicle registration information to businesses even if not necessarily to the general public. Maybe we should pool together and pay some company to get a list of all registered 1200s ... that would be interesting.

if i remember correctlu it was a Kansas Beige datsun sedan, either a 1200 or 1600.

Sorry to drag this topic back up, but I meet the guy who's car was used! They ended up using a Yellow B110 coupe, and payed him $200 per day for three days! Not bad at all. Howsit Morgan!
