Where can I get a speedo cable???

Maybe I'm not trying hard enough, but I'm having serious trouble finding a standard, everyday speedo cable for my 4 speed gearbox. I've had numerous spare parts shops laugh at me - even had one tell me that the speedo cable would be worth more than the car - they are now on my death wish list. Surely someone out there knows where I can get one?

I bought a brand new 120Y speedo cable from Nissan last year. Don't know if there is a difference between the 1200 and 120Y however. From memory I paid $70.

 far out... i got a 120y one from the wreckers for $10.... 120y one and 1200 one are identical as far as i can see... it fits for me anyway
