Does anyone have a 1200 coupe for sale? I'm in Sunnyvale California. The last one I had was totaled by a drunk driver. I only got blue book for the damage after I dumped over $3,000 in it.

Damsun,
I'm happy to help you find one here in NZ, but you need to check out what condition it needs to be in i.e. mint condition maybe require to import this into your country (safety reasons e.t.c.).

You can get coupe's here, but good ones aren't cheap my our standards (but maybe by yours), what sort of US Dollars did you want to spend.

Will the fact that it's RHD matter? Damn last week in Christchurch there was a very tidy one owner with 42k that I had a look at. He wanted NZ$5000 for it, maybe one day when I have too much money.

RHD is legal in the US. We can import any non-US-model vehicle over 25 years old. Newer cars are virtually off-limits due to emissions (EPA) and safety (DOT) regulations.

The exchange rate is about 2:1 right now. That is NZ $5000 is about $2500 US dollars (more or less).

Does anyone know what shipping would cost?
