hey all,
i have an a series 5 speed sitting in my garage.
it is a 60 series, but there is " #4 " cast just a bit further back down the box.
what does #4 mean???

the #4 i am guessing is a revision number of the gearbox. i noticed on a pic of my broken 5 speed that it has #3 on the side.

see the pic below and try to find the #3 for yourself. you have to zoom in pretty close.
