I would like to know the datsun1200 members ages, and why you have the datsun spirit.

I have 27 years , and i started with datsuns because the 120y i have m was from my father.
I ride on it since i had 4 years.

I'm 26

my dad took my money & bought a 120Y wagon for me with it when I was 16 - I was devistated! I wrapped it around a tree being a tool & used it to convert a sedan shell to manual as my 2nd car.

then after having a sensable late 80's lancer & a bombed up VR4 galant - I lusted after the cheap rwd fun of a datto again.

I'm 44. After my daughter bought her 1200 sedan & I drove it, I couldn't believe how much fun it was. I had hot holdens when I was in my teens & twenties but found they were a bit slow round corners. I guess I am just hooked now.

im 17, i started off being the typical ford kid but i didnt want an escort, my cousin had a corolla, and i wanted something like that, so i went looking and one of dads mates was around and i was looking at a 120y coupe on the net, he said "i've got one of those, except its orange" i was like "cool" so later that week i rang him up And offered him 220 for it he said "yep" i was like "cool, i'll come get it friday", the thing was it was sitting for about 12 years i put a new battery in and it started.

Im 18 and fell in love with dattos after growing up with Dads Mazda 1000 ute. It was like the small car RWD bug hit me. I saw what the hot little mazda could do and thought why not do it in a 1200 because they look better too.
