call it avatar.jpg then upload it.

The CAPS don't matter anymore ... that problem has been fixed.
Tell us what message you are seeing when it fails. Watch carefully, it only shows the message for about 15 seconds.

Can the avitar size be slightly larger, very restrictive at the moment
