Ok folks

Anyone out there know if a 5 speed tranny from an 81 210 1488 engine will bolt up to an 80 210 with a 12A engine. Thanks!!

Sure will. All a-series engines use the same bellhousing bolt-pattern.

What about driveshaft splines?
I know the models that came with the 63a boxes use a larger spline than the 60 boxes.

Good question. The B310s (as far as I know) only use 56-series or 60-series transmissions. The driveshafts I believe are the same, but there are two different style of tranmission crossmember mounts. The 63s came in the B210s.
