dude, everything you have said sounds like you are having a tug.

30 psi????
heads getting worked????
12 seconds from a 32/36 psi fed weber???
the whole dizzy thing sounds like a dog's breakfast of an idea too.

you need a LOT of power and a good setup to run 12's. 150 rwkw would maaaaybe get you there. i have never heard of a blow through carby turbo a12 having that sort of power. not even close.

your only chance to make me believe it woud be some photos and results. having said that it would be awesome if you proved everyone wrong

This might help with the power calcs:

http://www.campbellenterprises.com/Ra ... sion%20ratio%20calculator

It seems to be a pretty simple calculator but should give a good starting point. based on a 1750lb car wt (about what a 1200 is by the time you are in it) you need 156 kw@ the fly to get into the 12's (12.9), 172 kw to run 12.5 and 195 kw to run a 12.0

Hope this helps

Have a look on ebay at the moment there is a V8 datto 1200 up for auction. By that & then you might beable to use your V8 dizzy cap on that & it might even work.
Even if this does work How???
Do you realy think this will be a relable engine. Comon 30psi boost blowen through a 36/36 weber, standard valve train & this funky ignition set up. You will build a hadgrinade.
I think you are playing with us so you can see how many replies you get on this thread.
Another thing put nitrous on it to with 16 bottles in the boot & 10 injectors on each port that might work & you might get on the next fast & the furions movie too.

i think you'll find that he's running 2 spark plugs per cylinder,as used in nitro burning top fuel, all piston aero engines,& lots of italian formula 1 engines from the 50's & 60's.a friend
of mine does this conversion for volkswagens &
it works beautifully.the first car he converted had a switch to turn off the second set of plugs,& the performance difference was noticeable.with one set of plugs, the throttle had to be eased open below 3 grand in any gear to work, with the second set on,its was just flatten it from idle in top.so much so that he converted his open wheeler hillclimb car, running a 1.9 litre flat 4,with methanol,& was able to use what is a drag race cam, with no real response under 5000 rpm,& the car will now pull away from idle with no hesitation,no more side stepping the clutch.the z18 turbo had twin plugs,as do some z24 navaras.so the idea is legitimate,& has advantages.the only problem is the machine work to fit the extra spark plugs.

Would it be possible to get a late model Nissan Micra, fit the 1.8 litre motor from a Tiida & then turbocharged it? Your answer must include parts numbers for the conversion. You have 12 months. Commence.

when youve finished your turbo come out to a test and tune be quit happy to run aganst you i hope to atleast run a 15 or under. then only and only then you can consider going faster. to run no time at all and talk about 12 s thats just ####e and confusing ... to say in the least
matey believe me theres so much stuffen around on turbos its not funny forget building the engine concerntrate on gettin manifolds tofit and exhaust done. fuel pump, gauges electrics . cooling system thermo fans and the list goes on ,,,,,,,
