i live in vic and the front needs to go down due to the way the front end is very wondering at high speeds. it just sits up to high, maybe a front spoiler

If your 36 year old front end is moving around at high speed, then maybee you should slow down a little, then make sure that all of your ball joints, steering joints & steering box are all in good condition. Next, make sure that your wheel alignment is correct.

Trying to overcome the effects of worn or defective parts by lowering the car isn't the smart way to go. The 1000 front end is a good one when in good condition.

If it's like when I used to drive my 1000 wags. I say you on the right track. My wags had all good steering etc with minimal play and it wandered at speed, due to the lighteness or the car. Being shaped like a brick didnt help with wind resistance.
