GO THE ROTA!!!
I'm going the 13b turbo option too. after i finish my ca18det ute i'm cutting out the tunnel in my 2 door sedan and putting in a 13b bridge port turbo with a T70 on it. The best of both worlds ported and turboed!! sound realy fat!! everyone always asks what about getting it enginered? I will look in to it but who cares there is always someone out there who will do it for the rite price....

My SR20DET 12000 is just about to my dream car status level with the exception of the body/paint, a little bit more suspension work, and a stronger diff. I love everything about it except not being able to get traction and no A/C.
Can't argue with 115+ mph quarter mile trap speeds without getting traction, quieter exhaust than stock, and then still getting 33+ miles per gallon on the highway!! A few other things I would like to do is BIG fender flares and FAT tires all the way around, roll cage, a 5 or 6 speed cross-mission and dual plate clutch, rack and pinion steering, and Ultralight 4 pot brakes up front and 2 pots in the back on huge disks.

Mine would be a ford GT40 replica rolling on 18" x 9" and 18" x 12" wheels with brakes to fill them. It would be powered by a 20B running a supercharger and a quite-ish exhaust putting out around 600+HP. I'm sure i'm not dreaming??? if you were handy with a welder i guess you could do it for around $50K..

Nice idea Matt!!! so you get a chassis from a ford GT40 and put a datto body on it..... with some massive flares to cover the extra track width and stretch it to cover the wheelbase.
SICK!!!! I was thinking more along the lines of a SWB landy chassis with a 350 chev, Xtra large mud terrains, and bolt a ute shell to it with a 10" lift for a bit of mini-monster truck action You can view topic.
