i'm gettin about 15km/l wid my a14 5speed but the motor has been recently done n not tuned ryt yet.

used to get about 17km/l before i did the motor.

30 litres used to get me 300 miles
a 14 on sus in a 1000 coupe

i miss it

the pulsar gets 420km to 30 litres but is lame

My coupe with the SR20DET and 5 speed is getting 14 km/liter, just over 33 miles/gallon.

I could almost go 300 miles on one tank (9 gallons) with it, but I play it safe; 250 miles between fill ups on the highway.

So you're only getting 1km/l less with the A14 than the SR20, sounds like time to switch! My old twin Dellorto A15 could only muster about 27 miles/gallon, so I am QUITE pleased with this gas mileage!

crap, i've got a stock A14 ute and i'm only getting 11km/l in town without heavy driving. Is this normal?

I get 270 miles out of a tank in my stock 1200 sedan, I think thats ok.

I just filled up today and it took 30L so that about 14km/L

but serious, 11km/l really sucks! check ur CO% and timing.

also since im down at the coast i use 97octane. u most prob using i lower octane

Worked a14 with 4speed and 4.1 ute diff I got 10l per 100km so 400km out of a full tank filled up and there was only 2l left at (380km). Give it a bit of gas though and the twin Su's slurp it down. Still reasonable though for the hard work its doing.

LOL I'm coming in last with a bone stock A12 with loads of blow-by, 40s and header/exhaust.... 8km per liter. That's with the A/C on though... with it off I can go down 20 on the idle jets, so that's probably the source of the problem.

Hopefully all that will change with the coming motor change to a 1300cc A12, I don't think the current motor is very efficient.

My 1500 A14 with MSRs, wild cam, worked head, exhaust, high comp. get's 12km/liter in a ute with a 4.1 back when it had a 4 speed.

I get about 25 mpg. I'm sure I could get higher if i drover slower and got the weber tuned 100%
