hey ive got a 1200 ute and looking to put a ca18det in it. Im thinking of buying a half cut of a s13 silvia from this import place and he asked me if i wanted the black top or red top ca18det. i asked him wat the difference was but he didnt no. the black top is cheaper i wasnt sure so today i went on the internet searching for differences between the two. i couldnt find anything. i was wondering if anyone could help me please and give me some information about the performance and all that stuff. thanx

It might be filled with aftermarket parts

yer thanx for ur help fellas. yer i think he is gettin confused with the sr20's red and black top. coz ive never heard of ca18's red and black top so i thought i might do some research, found nothing, now u guys have assured me that there is no red and black versions. anyway ill go back to the import place wen the boss gets back. thanx again

i got my ute cummin off the road sumtime in the next cuple of months for spray and conversion etc etc, ive bin lookin at auctions for a wrecked ca silvia but havent seen any, so im prolly gunna hav to go the front cut, where abouts are you gettin it through and is that a startable front cut?
