No, the springs from a 1200 will not suit the 1000.
Is it possible that someone has messed with the rear suspension in the past? How many spring leaves does it have?
Do the spring eyes sit above the main leaf,... or below?
I have known of B10 springs to settle a bit, but never that much.

it has 2 leaves and the smaller one is on top
now the springs a re arching upwards insted of down. now the next question is can you still get these springs new?
as being so far gone i dont think they could be reset?

You can use all the 1200 leaves except the main leaf.
Just use them with the original 1000 main leaf on each side of the 1000.

It should have three leaves with the smallest leaf on the bottom. It looks like someone has been messing with something that they knew nothing about as your rear spring is effectively one leaf only. [The small one on top does nothing]
Using a couple of the leaves from the 1200 spring will help a lot if you can't find the missing ones, or cant get replacement 1000 model springs.

When springs are reset [hot method] the spring-works heat treat the leaves to remove all the springiness from them. They then reshape them to whatever spec is required [stock, lowered etc.] then heat treat again them to restore them to their original spring steel status.
It doesn't matter if they are new, or 100 years old, they can be restored, so age, of itself, is not a problem.

sounds to me like someone has tried to lower the car by taking a leaf and reversing it - putting it upside down on top of the main leaf. This would explain the leaf pack being cambered the "wrong" way.

You obviously don't have the missing leaf from the original 1000 packs, so the cheapest way to fix it would be as phunk described. It will raise the ride height though.

sounds to ME like someone has reversed the WHOLE leaf setup to get the arse end to sit lower - like that dodgy 120Y setup some yutz posted a while back.
