Hey matt,
Thanks for letting everyone know about this mis-titled ad. I hope I have to pay alot more for it now because you have done the hard work for everyone who would have missed out. You can tell that I am the one bidding on it, so either you don't care that someone is trying to get a good deal, or you have a problem against me personally. Either way, I hope you are really happy with yourself.
Maybe I'll return the favor sometime.
Bryon

Bryon, sorry to disappoint you, but mine was a public service announcement, nothing more.
I can imagine your frustration now that this mislabled auction is out of the bag, but my feeling is that if I was able to find it then so were other eBayers.
If it matters, not only did I not put 2 and 2 together that your eBay and 1200 club user names were the same, I also completely forgot that it was your user name.

If it makes you feel any better... I would have found it most likely, and I'll also forget to bid on it as well because of the time difference probably.

Yeup, I did. And I'm putting in a chargeback against this guy tomorrow.
BEWARE & AVOID this seller for now. (pending outcome)
The NOS grill arrived as a total loss. Center may be saveable, with much work. It was set tightly inside a box made up of six smaller boxes with ZERO protection. It arrived with both ends smashed.
What a F^(King moron.
But upon further & closer review.....it appears that the grill was already damaged to some extent & placed up for sale. This yahoo decided to pack it up poorly (against my explicit requests) so as to disguise the previous damage & pass it off as a current shipping "accident".
Right now, he has my offer to make things right. No word yet.
Thought you should know.
His info: Adam Holeman 13134 Avenida Grande San Diego, CA 92129 United States (619) 540-3929
Have a nice day.
My Dually's warming up....how's your head, bitch?

Well, eight more days have gone by. No response. He must think if he ignores a problem it will just go away.
It's open season, MF.
Anyone want to look closely at the ends of the grill in the pic & tell me what they see? Before the auction ended, I specifically asked for full pics showing the entire grill & if there was an original box. He responded yes to the box & said he'd try to get me pics. I again asked for the full pics and said I would want the box. He never responded, I went for it. I won, I asked for plenty of bubble wrap. And he sent the grill with zero wrapping, diagonally jammed into a box made up of many smaller boxes. I believe he did this on purpose to have the grill damaged during this shipment, so as to cover up the existing damage.
Yes, I did get insurance, but it will not cover the entire transaction. FYI everyone, get insurance to cover ALL of the transaction costs.
I better go, or I'll say something that should be said.
