the atessa transverse systems are different to the gtr as they are a front wheel drive then all wheel ratehr then the rearwheel drive then all wheel setup of the gtr. to put it another way the fronts will spint then it will take off with ca and sr but the rears will spin then it will take off with the gtr, if that makes sense.
not sure that it would be lsd but at that time most R160 and 180s were so i would guess that it would be the viscous type but as it would not often see drive it may be just an open diff. also i am not sure that they have a wet clutch method of switching drive like gtr as i got the impression that it was more like a switch rather then the smooth torque split decrease of the gtr. ben

if you have the car there then its easy to tell.
hold the pinion from turning and turn one wheel. if u can then its open and opposite wheel will turn the other way. if not hten i guess its lsd is the CA20 a twin cam? i have worked on a couple of twin cam conversion but none are going yet, how does it compare to the 18? ben http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/datsunb10/
