I scored some 15's with grouse 195/50 tyres for buggar all. thing is, they're not datsun pattern. Because poeple ask outrages money for dattoable 15's, I'm going to make adaptors to make them fit my 1200. Since they have a horrendus negative offset, (they were off a honda originally) I can make my adaptors to gain the happiest offset to clear the guards/struts etc.
Question is, is anyine else running 15x6.5's? do they rub, and what offset do you have?
If it turns out to be unworkable, I don't want to f**k around making the adaptors.

What has worked for you.?

yes they will fit with the right offset. im guessing being from a honda they will be 4x100 pcd (or if off earlier hondas can be 4x120 or 4 x 110)

You can find heaps of 4x114.3 studpatterned wheels in the front whell drive offset such as the datto.

They will fit but 195/45 r15 on the front will give you that little bt extra clearance and less of a sidewall bulge to not fowl on full lock or suspension travel.

Probably easier to source another set of stud patterened rims and just make some 20-25mm spacers and long wheel studs... will be cheaper too.

195/50's will work (and cheaper) if you don't mind not being able to lower the car as much.

The car was already lowered and certified, before I bought it. (Not too far though) Making adaptors won't cost much, and these wheels are starting to grow on me. I only bought the mags in the firstplace, because I wanted the tyres.
With the extra grunt my new donk will produce, the extra footprint of the 15's will be muchly needed.
