for a turbo back exhaust.... including two dump pipes with seperate wastegate tubes for each, mandrel bent 2.5" system, straight through muffler
$825, do you think it's worth it? is it worth getting mandrel bends if the system is quite large anyway?, and will the benefit of the seperate wasgegate tubes, over just an oval dump be worth the extra $100 they cost?

I think its a little rich, however it is a bit of mucking around with two turbos and all.

Yeah that's a reasonable price considering that there are 2 dump pipes to fabricate. The separate wastegate lines and mandrel bends are a good idea.
My single turbo exhaust was over a grand. Matty

i had my exhaust manifold fabricated from scratch... a full 2.25" exhaust all flange plated.. and 3 seperate systems from the diff back made up for under $600.. its press bent...
it included the custom extractors 2 14" hotdog resonators a triple flow muffler and 2 semi straight through mufflers i cant comment on the dump pipes.. but i wouldnt be that concerned with getting mandrel bends... ive had both press bent and mandrel bent systems on my street cars.. and i cant say ive ever thought to myself "ohhh thank god i got those mandrel bends" but thats just my opinion... id shop around a bit..

the price u said sounds fair, i was going to get a full 2.5 inch mandrel bent exhaust turbo back with a fully shaped dump pipe i was quoted 750 this included having a laser cutter technician go to the exhaust shop and draw up my dump pipe flange profile. in the end i just got the dump pipe made up and will have the rest finished when it passes epa etc. i think with stuff like exhaust's u get what u pay for and if ur after two shaped wastegate, dumpipe sections its going to cost you.

Thats a decent price as long as its quality work. Research the shop to make sure they do good work, because a ####ty exhaust system can fall apart real quick.
The mandrel bends are worth it because 2.5" is not really large for a turbo. With press bends you'll end up having 2.25" or less. I've seen seperate wastegate dumps get some awesome results, especially when people have had the time to play around with different lengths. As yours will just be a guess, you probably won't get the most you can out of it, but it still should improve spool-up time.

If this is going to be a car that you will keep for some years don't dick around with press bends. They cause restriction which means less power. Turbos don't like restrictions. Mandrel bends flow significantly more. Simple.

i reckon thats reasonable for a shop i guess, but i'd just make your own slacker! bends will cost you about fifteen bucks each and then you can put it where you want. It'll cost you heaps less and i reckon you'll be chuffed with the results... put that mech eng brain to work!
and on the seperate pipe thing, with those turbos i reckon 2.5 inch will be too big for the flange anyway, so don't bother with the seperate pipe. if you really like the idea (which does work) maybe just put a seperation plate between the wastegate hole and the exhaust wheel. i tell you what, i'll do it for $815

well its not going to be 2.5" at the back of each turbo, thats after the two ump pipes meet up, not sure what size the dump pipes would/should be
