Hey Im putting a 4agze into my 1200 and I need to sort out a diff for it. I have a H165 and was thinking of geting an LSD for it but Im not sure if it will handle the torque. I dont want to spend heeps on the LSD just to find the axles keep braking. Should I go for the H190? I didn't want to have to shorten the dif plus pay for an LSD, welding the diff is out of the question and I dont really want to have to re-engineer a diff to fit the 1200. Any one got sugestions?
Thanks.

i can 2nd that choice of the r31 diff. it will be a bit more expensive to start with but will be stronger than most other diffs out there.

i have the h190 vanette diff, its 45mm wider, will take any power (its like 8.5+ inch)

fwd offset or 2" flares will cover the extra width

instalation requires new tailshaft, and relocating the mounts (cut off weld back on closer in)

discs from bluebirds bolt straight on and brake lines match up (change them over to the vanette axles)

Well H190, 190mm ring gear, 190mm = roughly 7.5inch, hell look at the power you can put through a ford 9inch!

You don't have to measure it... 190mm is like 7.48 inches or something.
