which chrome strips?
the ones on top of the doors just lift off - but be gentle. You may need to start them with a screwdriver - carefully. the stainless ones under the rear side windows are riveted on. windows need to be removed to drill out the rivets. expect to find a bit of cancer under them too. the stainless ones on the gutters are a bitch to get off without twisting them up and making them a PITA to get back on nicely. But the theory is to simply twist them off, pulling the bottom outwards, then they lift off the lip. Do it gradually along the whole length. I'd just mask them off unless there is rust about... I honestly don't know how the ones on the sills are attached, because every coupe I've ever owned has been missing them. I suspect simple plastic clips - which will more then likely break when you as much as look at them... And don't ask me how to remove those blasted stainless trims from the windscreen rubbers without mangling either them or the rubber! the side vents are easy - they're attached with a few 8mm nuts from inside. remove the interior trim from under the rear side windows to get to them.
