My friend just bought a 91 240SX and the KA is making a clicking. If it were my car I would say valve clearances need to be adjusted but I'm not familiar with the twin OHC engine. How difficult is this on the KA engine?

Also there seems to be some friction sounds coming from the head. Almost like plastic binding.

I realize that this is not an A series post...

sounds like the valves do need adjusting. has anybody been in the top end latley? the only plastic in the engine is the chain guides, which I have seen come apart.

Hard to say, he has had it for 2 days.

Is it a 10 minute job like the A series or is there more involved with OHC?
