Razor I had a lot of trouble finding a boss kit and the only place is SAAS steering wheels. The answer is that a 180B won't fit, its completely different.

I'll second that. the tossers at repco tried to sell me a 180B one, "nah mate it will fit, all those old datsuns are the same"
1200 and 120y are the same, and I think sunny & 1000 are as well, but everything else is definately different Mine is autotechnica #434 (I think)

i was looking for one for my 120y ,at the wreckers i got one of a stanza and
tryed it on a 12oy and it was way to big, later in the day i go to autobarn and asked for a 120y one and the guy gave me one. i noticed the box said stanza and told the guy no way it wont fit, he argued it would. get home go to fit it and no suprise i was right. i took it back and spoke to a "manager". the guy who sold it to me musta felt like a dick.

Autotechnica 434 will work on 1200 & 120Y, but you may need to spread the blinker switch pins just a smidgin as they are closer together than the stock ones & the blinkers in my two sons 1200 & 120Y did not cancel reliably untill I spread them. Yes, I bought both of them new wheels & bosses as an early Xmas present.
This boss will fit the 1000 shaft, but you can't turn the wheel unless you remove the blinker switch assembly as the pins will mess with this part. The 1000 pins are much closer together, so this boss is not suitable. The steering shaft in the bigger cars with L series engines is larger than the little Datsuns, although I think that the B310 Sunny uses this larger size too, so if the boss is cheap enough, then get it just as trading material.
