hey Converted in your old race engine did you run vacuum advance? I remember you said that you run 17degrees advance

I just installed the Ignitor (by Pertronix) into my 1200 and it was very simple and works just fine. I also bought their 3 ohm coil, and don't use the ballast resistor any longer. The ignitor and coil were about $100 USD shipped to my door.

The ignitor kit for the Datto is #1741 and if you search Google or similar for "Pertronix 1741", I'm sure you can find it easily enough.
