this is the number for a datsun 120y doors seal.
but i dont know if it is for 2 doors or 4 doors. can anyone check this for me please?

Because it starts with 82....
It's a rear door part. If it started with 80 it would be for the front door. I'm not a freak..I just know to check at : Datman in UK's Part number interpretation. Cheers.

i found a local datsun dealer that have only 2 of those. i want to buy it if it fits my 2 doors 120y

Doesn't the dealer know what they are for?
My parts book says: 82831 is weatherstripping rear door LEFT SIDE 4dr sedan: 82831-H5000 4dr van: 82831-H6000 My book (1978 JDM) does not list a 82831-H5300. However, most H5300 parts appears to be for 2-dr Van or 2-dr sedan. Which doesn't make sense for 82831 which is for rear door.
