What about people running Aseries turbo setups? A cooler that has inlet and outlet on the same side would save so much plumbing and lag too (I think the less piping the better....can someone confirm this?) is there any cheep after market coolers like this?
(maybe i should start a new post.....see how it goes here first)

Cheers All

i think my a series had a supra cooler which had both the inlet and outlet on the same side
and it fitted neatly behind the grill too for the seeper look

Thanks for the tip shaun.......Does the supra cooler have aluminium or cast tanks?
Also what model supras (im guessing the earlier ones)
Would there be aftermarket coolers in this style or would i have to go custom (thats an expensive word)?? any idea how much for a custom made cooler?

what about a 600x300x73 cooler?
rekon it would fit witout cutting the grille.
they sell at just jap for $175 so i rekon it'd be worth it if it fits.

no way, 600 wide would be a serious hack job, that is the core size in fact its about 780 * 330 * 76 mm, it would probably allow you to have the pipes in place of the lights.

I can get a smaller one 280x300x76 mm (Core Size)
460x330x76 mm (Whole)

just jap have raised their price back up i think?

Any pipe length and or bend will add friction which can cause a pressure drop, i don't think having it on the one side would help too much, it means the air has to do a 180 in the cooler which would mean its going to effectivly slow the air as opposed to some mandrel 90's.

oh, Group buy on datnet
