Hi all.
Those of you running John Tailor's upgraded rear leaf springs.

I just want to know. are they much stiffer than standard leaf springs?
Can I put such stiff leaf springs in my sedan and still have a drivable car on the street or are they too stiff for normal road use.
Now the big question.
As you all know I am from south africa and cannot get such springs here.
How can I get hold of Jeff to find out what stiffness I can reset my springs to so that they are the same as his springs.

Sorry to hijack this thread but could I ask how much these leaves cost? As my leaves are ####ed and I want new or newer ones. Does anyone have a set for sale?

Cheers
damo

Are they stiffer...yes
Street use they would be great...the fact that I use spax or koni adjustable racing shocks stiifenes it up more, but for street you could use a softer KYB shock or adjustable shock set to soft.
If you wanna ring John Taylor directly check your PM. I thoroughly recommend this spring.

Does Koni still make shocks for our Datsuns?

Is international calls not a bit expensive?

converted

Will they also fit my sedan's rear?
As far as I know the sedan and coupe's shocks are sitting at different angles.
Is the coupe's shocks not longer?

But more importantly, will they fit my sedan?
