In the Gumball Rally movie in a scene near the end where the Camaro flips it's races past a green 1200 coupe on the freeway...

They destroyed a P76 in Midnight Spares dam them!! it's getting hard to find parts for those debatabley good machines

readc my earlier post about the 1000 sedan,plus they did a real number on the xa falcon coupe,& all the other cars destroyed in that last scene.plus the production line stripping of the charger.got to see the movie to understand.

On win tv in victoria (OZ) on late nights(or early mornings to some people), there two old tv drama shows called disvison4 & Matlock Police made in the 70s & see alot early datos & other makes drivin around including a holden monaro (coupe) cop car? Bruns

stirlingmac, thanks for the tip. I got Gumball Rally from the library, and thought it was a good "car movie" in general. It had lots of great racing sounds that didn't sound fake (e.g. Ferrari Daytona california convertible V12, Cobra with Ford power, GM Camaro with presumably a nascar engine). It was especially interesting to hear the V8s vs. the V12, often at the same time.

Anyways, about the 1200s ... at 1:28, they come into Los Angeles and get stuck in rush hour traffic. Just after Raul Julia says of the Ferrari "the engine is getting too hot", it looks like a white 1200 coupe goes by. It's not clear. However, at 1:29 there is clearly seen a bright green 1200 coupe, you can make out the side emblems and GL style hubcaps.

In "Cool Runnings" the Jamaican bobsled movie you see what i think is a 120Y being pulled over by the police at the bottom of the hill. Its when they are training on the grass hill, and they crash into the police car in their bobsled thing. It's bright orange with blue wheels i think.

in relation to 120fly original post about the milfhunter datto....i have also seen this and think that such brilliance is the reason that the his web site was started, because he just pulled tonnes of hot girls/mums in his datsun, am i correct.

I the origianl leathel weapon movie towards the end when Mel Gibson is chasing Gray Busey, there is what i think is a 210, and its shown several times

Crap movie, but I think that was a Datsun Fairlady convertable they were driving around in.....

Unless it was a Honda S600 - Hard to tell with all that rust.
